There Hip hop artist out there that can be or that are consider role models to society. These artists serve as examples to the youth, displaying positive notations rather than the negative aspects of Hip Hop which common paint pictures of violence, drugs, and money. Hip hop artists serve as role models to youth, contributing from a various set of backgrounds. With many Hip Hop artists coming from backgrounds that weren’t fortunate, they continue to demonstration to the youth can achieve their goals.

One Hip Hop artist in particular that show these efforts include music artist like Nas many that have songs like “I can” that demonstrate doing well in life by becoming what you want to be in order to be successful. Other artist that fit with this role includes Common, Will Smith, Ludacris, and Queen Latifah.
